Make your own Zeotrope
Compagnie Animotion
To tie in with the performances of Portmanteau at 11am and 2.30pm, Compagnie Animotion offer children a chance to make their own Zeotropes.
Zoetropes have existed for nearly 2000 years and since the 19th century as a popular toy consisting of a cylinder with slits cut vertically in the sides, with static images in the interior. When the cylinder is spun the images appear to move.
Workshop: £2.50 (£1.50 for ticket holders for the performances) accompanying parents free.
