The story of The Jingle Dress takes us on a journey with Native American, Raylene and her friends, Tayo (from West Africa) and Lucy (from the UK) and explores their heritage through a fusion of cultural dance and music styles. The show asks "what are you made of; what have you inherited?" Whether we have inherited the same funny toes as our grandma or the music and movements of a culture, we all have a story within us that was written long before we were born and becomes part of what makes us special.
